First Cart Full is Free!  Any additional trips will be assessed an 8 cents per pound fee, payable at time of service.
Any excess amount considered a purge will need to have special arrangements and/or an appointment made, fees will be assessed beyond one cart full.
All materials must be in a disposable/recyclable container, i.e. grocery sack, trash bag, cardboard box, etc.  TARC Industries will not dump containers or accept loose paper. 

 

TARC Industries proudly offers free residential shredding services as a gesture of thanks for the 61 years of support the citizens of Shawnee County have given TARC. Free Shred

We accept: Aluminum cans, confidential paper shredding, office paper, shredded paper,  newspaper, magazines/catalogs, junk mail, telephone books, boxes and books.

Items not accepted include: household waste, medical supplies, glass, cell phones, batteries

In 2014, TARC Industries was the local Keep America Beautiful-Topeka/Shawnee County in the Civic/Non-Profit-Waste Reduction category award.

Topeka and Shawnee County was awarded 10 out of the 36 national Awards.

TARC Industries received 2nd Place for the Waste Reduction for Civic/Non-Profit.
